Why I have left blogging so long when I have so much to say, and so much to fill you all in on??

Hmm where to begin, in the search for my full-time employment I have gotten addicted to two programs. 1 homes under the hammer and To built or not to build HAHA!

Also on a Monday evening is the beautiful and exquisite Queens Palaces, every detail presented in these 3 programs is well explained and the history is told along with meanings and ceremonial importance.

Tomorrow I am to london to see the start of London Design Festival, with my tickets to Origin and a ‘research trip’ down Oxford Circus and up Knightsbridge then along Tottenham court Road, to see this seasons autumn winter collections from the big high street brands to the boutiques and bespoke stores like Harrods.

So check me out on Twitter (MissRavBudwal) for the latest updates and hottest style notes and interior trends 🙂

Have a fantastic week fellow bloggers and get your snug winter jackets out, its defiantly time 🙂 x

Just a quick one today folks, I have finally become more tech savvy and added Twitter and Facebook as a direct link to my blog so please use these buttons.

Will be adding some more images shortly of some work I have just sold from my summer coletion.Enjoy!

Autumn Colour!!!

I know it’s not actually here yet but then evenings seem to be getting darker earlier, and now on a morning you have to do the ‘stick your toe outa bed test’ to check the temperature. Then you decide it too cold to get up and that you can spare an extra five minuets in bed tehehe.

From some trend research i have been conducting it is very much apparent that the  muted tones of  a / w collections are a thing of the past. The trend forecast for a / w 2011 is a colourful one!

The most important hues for this season are vivid purple,  pumpkin oranges, strong mustards, teals  and midnight blues. I think one of the keg changes in this season is tha fact the designer Raf Simons (working for Jil Sander) was very careless with him use of colour and liked a mish mash of colours all together, contrasting purples and pinks with splashes of orange.

Dolce and Gabbana had purple, yellow and pink dresses walking down the runway. Gucci was playing with colour, making even bigger statements with red brick skirts, brown knee-high boots and a lilac blouse, very risky but it looked fantastic!

Yasmin Sewell global fashion consultant says…

” It’s not about one colour it is a small gang of colours. You can wear just one, or you can wear many at once. “

Why is modern technology super annoying?

Trying to call someone who lives miles away and see their face is supposed to be easy right? What with facebook, skye and msn?? Well, for me there was no such luck today!!

So in my bid for sanity before i slapped my macbook i looked at some new exhibitions, here is a few which might be of interest to some of you 🙂

One i found which may be of interest to some of my readers is the ‘Power Of Making’ exhibition which opened today at the V & A in London it is an eclectic mix of crafted objects which celebrate the role of making in our life’s.

The impressions gallery in Bradford starting on the 28th September – 10th December is showing a photographic tableaux of democrtic and politcal paoint in history, if you like art and history but as 2 separate subjects this is a fantastic mix!

And a special for you from the Tate modern Damien Hirst, exhibiting from the 4th of April – 9th September.

WOOOOOOOOO exciting times ahead hey guys 🙂

P.S A note of sympathy goes out to the poor guy who has had thousands of pounds worth of bronze sculptures stolen from him! Outrageous!
